About Chef at Home
Chef at Home provides bespoke catering for all occasions, including weddings, private celebrations, corporate and sporting events, and relaxed gatherings. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry — including many years as Head Chef at The Eyston Arms in East Hendred, Oxfordshire — we create tailored menus to suit your event, your tastes, and your budget, from informal breakfasts and grazing tables to elegant sit-down dining.
Following the success of Chef at Home, we were proud to open Ock River Bakery, a small, vintage-style bakery shed located in central Abingdon. This allows us to extend the same passion for quality, craftsmanship, and personal service into a retail setting, supported by our commercial kitchen serving both businesses.
Using fresh, high-quality ingredients and a personal, hands-on approach, we take pride in catering across both Chef at Home and Ock River Bakery. We’re always happy to accommodate dietary requirements and aim to make every event relaxed, enjoyable, and memorable.
